From WFD Youth Camps to WFD President.
Joe’s work with the WFD begin as Vice President then President of the WFD Youth Section from 1995-2003. During his time, the WFDYS developed into a strong section of the WFD with regular youth camps for deaf children and youth of all ages.

Joe has served on four different WFD boards since 2003 and is ready to lead the WFD onward.
Multilingual and multicultural competence.
Joe has travelled to nearly 80 countries around the world and has worked with multinational teams for his entire career.
Two decades of human rights work.
Joe has worked with three WFD Presidents, including WFD President Emeritus Liisa Kauppinen, to advance the WFD’s human rights work.
